Lisa Barretta says December 21, 2012 hails in a period of drastic change for humans. We are shifting into a time when our minds come to full power. Biologists say that around 97% of our DNA is “junk.” Barretta says that this “junk” DNA is not junk at all. It is merely dormant DNA that will now be activated and allow us to do what we presently call paranormal or psychic abilities such as telepathy, telekinesis, astral travel, and remote viewing. She discusses the physical, mental, and emotional signs and symptoms of this major shift and offers helpful ways to ease the transition, including diet, herbs, sound therapy, Reiki, and aromatherapy. This book also contains information about energy medicine and auras, including what aura colors mean regarding the health and character of a person. In addition, there is information on the chakras, including the rarely known eighth chakra. Also notable is the information regarding the Indigo, Crystal, and Rainbow children who are here to change the world and usher in a time of peace, love, and enlightenment.
Personally, I would prefer endnotes and references to the topics Barretta discusses, particularly the information on human origins (which seems to be derived almost exclusively from Zecharia Sitchin’s books) and on the additional DNA strands that we are purported to possess. Other than that, this book is a fascinating, interesting, and positive read regardless of your beliefs. I particularly like the sections on the meaning of numbers and various healing modalities. Barretta ends the book with her predictions of what the new golden age on our planet will look like. Human will and actions over time will tell whether we will create a better future for ourselves and our descendants.
